The UMA Will Reach 113.14 Pesos Daily by 2025
The Unit of Measurement and Update (UMA) has recorded an increase of 4.21% for the year 2025. According to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), the daily value of the UMA, which is used to calculate certain payments such as fines, will be 113.14 pesos per day starting next February.
The UMA serves as an economic reference in pesos to determine how much needs to be paid for obligations and regulations stipulated in both federal and state laws, as well as in the regulations derived from these. Its value is established based on the inflation rate from the last month of the previous year. In December 2024, the inflation rate was 4.21%. Therefore, the monthly UMA will be set at 3,439.46 pesos and the annual UMA at 41,273.52 pesos.
It is important to consider that the increase in the UMA has a direct impact on individuals and businesses that must comply with financial obligations, especially regarding fines and other related payments. In an economic context where inflation remains consistent, it is crucial for both citizens and business owners to stay informed and adjust their financial plans in light of these changes.
