Trump Asegura que China se Encontró en Crisis por la Guerra Comercial

The U.S. president, Donald Trump, remarked that China "is in crisis" following the announcement of new 34% tariffs on products coming from the United States, in retaliation for the tariffs imposed by Washington during this trade conflict.

“China made a mistake and now they’re scared. What they can’t afford to do is panic,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform on Friday. Additionally, China announced that it has filed an official complaint against the new U.S. tariffs with the World Trade Organization (WTO), arguing that these actions violate WTO regulations and that they have requested to initiate consultations. In its statement, the Permanent Mission of China to the organization said it had decided to take additional retaliatory measures of 34% on American products, marking a significant escalation in the trade conflict with President Trump and raising fears of a possible recession and a decline in global stock markets.

This episode highlights the fragility of the global economy in light of trade tensions. It is crucial for both the United States and China to seek diplomatic solutions to avoid an outcome that could be detrimental to their economies and to international trade overall. History has shown that trade wars often have wider repercussions than anticipated, impacting consumers and businesses in both countries.
