RappiCard achieved a credit portfolio of 5.107 billion pesos in August 2024, according to an announcement from the fintech company this Wednesday. This collaboration with Banorte aims to reach more users by offering efficient management of their cards, particularly targeted at younger audiences with benefits like cashback.

The company emphasized that its agility in the application, approval, and delivery process sets it apart from other financial institutions. “Competitors are quite lagging behind compared to the benefits that RappiCard offers its cardholders, highlighting the speed in approval and card delivery,” mentioned José Antonio Murillo, CEO of RappiCard, in the statement. The unique benefits provided by the RappiCard have allowed the company to achieve profitability just three years after its launch, impacting millions of Mexicans with digital products that improve their personal finances. RappiCard is positioned as one of the cards with the best customer service in Mexico, where each user is assigned a Personal Advisor who knows and addresses their questions in a personalized manner. To achieve this, processes and an organizational culture have been implemented that focus on addressing customer inquiries, resulting in over 90% of questions being handled on the first contact. In previous statements, Rappi shared that 75% of its RappiCard customers are under 35, demonstrating its strategy to attract young users with products tailored to their needs. Through its extensive database in the Rappi app, RappiCard offers credit lines that are 53% higher than those of other fintechs, better aligning with its users' consumption patterns. In April of this year, RappiCard reached profitability for the first time since its launch in 2021, as well as surpassing one million customers.
