New Digital Platform from the SAT for Taxpayers

The Tax Administration Service (SAT) has announced that the first phase of its revamped online portal is now accessible.
According to the institution, this new portal aims to provide a more agile and effective service to taxpayers, creating a more intuitive and accessible experience that makes it easier to identify relevant procedures and topics. “The improvements have minimized the number of clicks required to navigate the platform. Additionally, the portal now features light and dark mode options, and it is responsive, allowing for optimal viewing on computers, tablets, or mobile phones,” explained the SAT in a statement. The agency specified that the platform update was carried out by internal staff, with support from the Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency, without generating additional costs. “The launch of this new tool is part of the 2025 Master Plan strategy and aligns with the Government of Mexico's policies to simplify, digitize, reduce processing times, and eliminate unnecessary procedures,” the institution added. This year, in addition to this upgrade, the SAT has also implemented new tools to facilitate tax payments, including one aimed at individuals making provisional or final payments and the Informative Declaration of Operations with Third Parties (DIOT).
It's encouraging to see how the SAT is working to modernize its digital infrastructure and simplify taxpayer interaction with the government. This digitization not only saves time and effort but can also reduce the margin of error in tax processes. In times of economic change, administrative efficiency is crucial to maintain citizens' trust in their institutions.
